Chakra Garden
Tend your energy as you'd tend a garden. Chakra Garden is a seasonal chakra meditation app, where plant medicine meets chakra healing. Each month the garden offers one tending, drawn from the energy centre that's asking for your attention: a herb, an essential oil, a flower essence and a crystal, chosen to help you meditate, balance and bloom.

Where your energy grows

Opens this autumn on the App Store and Google Play.

Where you land when you open the app. Tonight's moon, this week's point in the season, and a quiet space to notice how you are.

Four things to work with this month: a herb, an essential oil, a flower essence and a stone, all drawn from one centre, each with preparation and safety.

The full library, searchable, every entry filed under the chakra it belongs to.

Six ways in, and you can use as much or as little as you like.

Just breathe

Plain language guides to the seven centres, for anyone arriving without the vocabulary.

Every profile asks how the plant is sitting with you. What you write stays on your phone and gathers in Yours, so you can look back and see what actually helped.

A breathing session, there whenever life needs a calming break. Set the timer for anything up to an hour and take the moment.

Thirty-six months, already planted

One tending a month, thirty-six in all, written and waiting. This is not an app that hands you the same seven centres on a loop and hopes you don't notice: thirty-six months, a hundred and forty-four plants, oils, essences and stones, each one chosen for the centre it belongs to and the point in the year it arrives.

The year keeps the same shape each time round. Autumn always opens at the root, because that is when the year tips towards the dark and the ground is what you need under you. Deep winter returns to the root again. The throat and then the crown arrive at the height of the light. Spring always opens at the sacral.

Shown in northern hemisphere months. South of the equator the same sequence runs six months across, so the tendings still land in the season you're actually in.

Over 200 entries, filed by chakra centre.

52 herbs, 47 essential oils, 38 flower essences and 64 crystals, each one sitting under the chakra it belongs to, the way every plant in a real garden has a bed it belongs to.

Every entry tells you what it does, how to take it, what to be careful of, and why it sits where it sits. The safety notes are the ones I give my own clients.

As the light turns, the garden sits with the root.

Spirulina
Vetiver
Olive
Bloodstone

THE HERB
Deep green, mineral rich, quietly rebuilding.

THE ESSENTIAL OIL
Distilled from root, and it smells like it: dark, earthy, steadying.

THE FLOWER ESSENCE
For the exhaustion that arrives when there's nothing left in reserve.

THE CRYSTAL
Grounding, and old as courage. Keep it in a pocket and forget about it.

The root chakra is the centre of ground and safety, the one that asks whether you're actually held, and the first to go when you've been stretched too thin for too long. This is the September tending north of the equator.

South of the equator? September is spring where you are, so the garden hands you the sacral chakra instead: Wild Yam, Wild Orange, Honeysuckle and Carnelian. The centre that goes with opening, appetite and movement, which is what spring asks for. You choose your hemisphere the first time you open the app, and everything shifts to match.

The garden opens this autumn, the day light and dark stand equal wherever you're standing. Whichever way your year is turning, it starts you at the centre that suits it.

You don't need to know the names to walk in.

The chakras are seven energy centres running up the body, from the base of the spine to the crown. They aren't organs, and nobody is claiming they are. They're a very old and very useful map for the places lifeforce energy gets stuck.

You need to know where it hurts, or where it's stuck, or where something is finally starting to open. The garden takes you from there.

It meets the season you're actually standing in.

The garden reads tonight's moon phase and this week's point in the year, and the tendings are chosen around them. Not decoration.

Tell it which hemisphere you're in and it turns the other way if it needs to. If it's spring where you're standing, you get the spring tending, labelled with your own month.

The whole apothecary, with no signal

Once it's installed, all of it is on your phone. Every herb, oil, essence and stone, every preparation method and safety note, and all thirty-six tendings. Useful in a field, a plane, or a house with bad reception.

There is no server to ask, which is also why there is no account, no sign up, no analytics and no advertising.

Reach for it

Open the garden. Tonight's moon, this week's season, and a quiet space to note how you're feeling. Half a minute is enough.

Meet this month's four, all drawn from one centre and chosen to match where the year is. Each comes with plain instructions.

Brew the tea. Breathe the oil. Take a couple of drops of flower essence under the tongue. Keep the stone in your pocket, or under your pillow.

Everything you might ask

Is this instead of seeing someone?

No. This is for education and spiritual practice, not medical advice. The garden sits alongside proper care, it doesn't replace it. Always check in with a qualified practitioner before taking herbs, particularly in pregnancy, while breastfeeding, alongside medication, or with an existing condition.

What if I want more than an app?

Then come and find me. Herbal consultations and Reiki treatments are both here on this site.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Everything is on your device once you've installed it.

What is a tending?

It's the month's set of four: a herb, an essential oil, a flower essence and a stone, all drawn from the same energy centre and chosen to suit the point the year has reached. Each one comes with how to prepare it, how much to use and what to be careful of. A new tending arrives every month, and thirty-six of them are already written.

I'm in the southern hemisphere, will the seasons be wrong?

No. The garden asks which hemisphere you're in when you first open it, and shifts everything six months if you say south. So a southern reader opening it this September gets the sacral tending, the one that suits spring, labelled September. You can change your answer later if you move.

What happens after the first year?

The garden carries on. Three full years of tendings are already written, The seasonal rhythm repeats, so September always returns to the root and June always to the crown, but no tending repeats, so you never meet the same four things twice. After the three years, it keeps growing.

Do I need to buy herbs to use it?

No. Plenty of people will use the garden as a reading and reflecting practice. If you do want to work with the plants, every entry tells you how to prepare it and what to watch for.

Where does my information go?

Nowhere. It stays on your phone. I'm not watching, and nobody else is either.

Do I need to already know about chakras?

Not a bit. Come as you are. I'll explain the rest.
